Popular Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has accused United Nigeria Airline of repeated flight delays and cancellations that left her stranded in Ekiti State and disrupted her work schedule.
The actress said the airline cancelled her flight twice within two days without prior notice or clear communication.
Ogunmola explained that she travelled to Ekiti for a work assignment and planned to return to Lagos on Wednesday for another film production.

According to her, she arrived at the airport as scheduled but airline officials informed her that the flight had been delayed due to an unspecified issue. After waiting for several hours, the airline later cancelled the flight entirely.
She said airline staff failed to provide alternatives or assistance despite her urgent need to return to Lagos.
The actress stated that the airline later scheduled another flight for Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. She said she paid for a hotel and other expenses to accommodate the delay.
However, on arriving at the airport early Thursday, officials reportedly changed the flight time several times. The airline first shifted it to 9:30 a.m., then to 12:00 p.m., and later to 5:30 p.m.
Ogunmola said the repeated changes left her frustrated and helpless.
The actress stressed that the delays affected more than her personal plans. She revealed that her entire production crew was already on set in Lagos, waiting for her arrival.
“They are not just wasting my time. They are affecting my livelihood,” she said.
She added that the airline failed to send text messages or make official announcements to passengers.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Ogunmola said she recorded the incident as evidence. She confirmed that she would instruct her lawyer to take legal action against the airline.
She said she had no option but to travel by road, which she described as unsafe.
“They showed no remorse. Their actions are unfair and unacceptable,” she said tearfully.

The incident comes barely one month after commercial flight operations began in Ekiti State. The development has raised concerns over service reliability, passenger safety, and customer care standards.
Passengers have since called on aviation authorities to strengthen oversight and enforce accountability among domestic airlines.
